Last November saw members of BU METโs criminal justice community make significant contributes to the 74th Annual Meeting of American Society of Criminology. This yearโs conference was focused on crime as it relates to institutions and culture, and both MET faculty and alumni added valued critical thinking to the proceedings.
BU MET Director of Cybercrime Investigation and Cybersecurity Programs Dr. Kyung-Shick Choi discussed the vital role of encryption technology in digital defense, as well as the policy challenges faced by the United States by emergent cyber threats. Dr. Daniel LeClair chaired a session on emerging cybersecurity issues and the interdisciplinary approaches required in cases, practices, and policy recommendations.
