Dr. Kyung-shick Choi, Director of Metropolitan College, Boston University's Cybercrime & Cybersecurity programs, wrapped up his time in Bogota, Colombia at the 1st Annual White Hat conference with a 36 hour non-stop cybercrime hackathon event where 12 international teams worked to solve a complicated government case. The White Hat conference promoted effective cybercrime investigation training, with presenters sharing their practical knowledge around cybercrime profiling, early cybersecurity education, ethics, hacking, internet fraud, darkness investigation, cyber-incident response, and the need for AI tracking devices for suspect online activity.
